Childrens Activities
There will be lots of activities lined up for children including a spiritual dance, treasure hunt, arts and crafts, face painting, and the wonderfully magical Dublin Community Circus. There is also a state of the art children’s playground on site where you can take the children while your other half relaxes for an hour with one of our therapists or in our meditation center. Now that sounds like a plan!

Want to join the circus? Well this is the perfect place to start! We are a not for profit organisation based in the Dun Laoghaire Rathdown area. We are committed to spreading the love of Circus and Street Arts to the entire community. Established in Spring 2013, we have been working throughout the community providing fun and innovative workshops to children and young people in a fun and encouraging environment.Through our talented tutors, Dublin Community Circus offers instruction in a variety of Circus Skills such as Poi, Hoop, Diabolo, Club and Ball Juggling, Flower Sticks, Balance, Stretching and more! These activities are known to aid concentration, physical ability, group bonding, creativity and endurance.

The Children’s playground is available all year round.
“ The playground is set in an elevated location overlooking the Irish Sea and is easily accessed from the main car park through a woodland walk which is very close by. A lower car park is available for wheelchair accessibility only. The playground is themed on the castle and the sea to identify with the Ardgillan focus. Kids of all ages will enjoy a playground that offers significant variety as well as lots of action and an opportunity to enhance their developing imagination as well as keeping them fit by engaging them in outdoor activity. The enclosed purpose-built, safe-surface playground offers a secure environment for children and is divided into age-appropriate activities.”- Ardgillan Castle
