Sifu Nick Costello from the Tai Chi Academy and the Lung Ying Kung Fu Academy has completed his first book documenting his fascinating search for enlightenment titled ‘The Coalman, the Dragon & the Buddha’. The Book is part biography and part inspirational text. It is the story of Nick’s journey so far and an expression of the knowledge, wisdom, kindness and love he found along the way. “This book will challenge you to accept and release the negatives in your life while providing you with some simple tools and some daily practices to cultivate mindfulness, compassion and a return to the love you deserve.”

Nick launched his book at the Fingal County Council offices where Mayor of Fingal, Kieran Dennison, Councillor David O’Connor, Councillor Tom O’Leary, Fiona O’Reilly and Paul Barnes of Fingal County Council were in attendance. During the book launch, Swords/Baldoyle Youth Services were presented with certificates by the Lung Ying Shaolin Buddhist Temple for their dedication and hard work in training for Level 1 of Chinese Dragon Dancing.
