About Hvmmingbyrd
Hvmmingbyrd is a five-piece, all female band based in Maynooth, formed from a group of friends by lead singer Deborah Byrne who describes their sound as ‘somewhere between folk, pop, reggae and soul’.
Hvmmingbyrd’s brand of melodic harmonies and soulful guitar pop has won them praise and followers. They debuted on Culture Night, September 2013 playing at the Hugh Lane Gallery in Dublin. Since then, Hvmmingbyrd’s gigs have included sessions in Third Space in Smithfield and a special Winter Songs Christmas session back in the Hugh Lane.
